This is the very first Message that says to the African for example to worship the true God who made the sky: the stars, the sun, the moon and even the fallen angels who use horoscopes, mystical orders and religions. God has never been in a religion. True Christianity is not a religion but a life. This angel calls on Haitians and Beninese to quit voodoo, fetishism, customs and any other forms of worships and invocations... God has created land for our life and we must not transform it into sacred forests or groves, into statues and masks to worship it. That was the Message of the first angel. No! To go and reveal the Word to the teachers and trainers in pastoral schools? No! To go and give his vision about what someone said forty years ago? No! ... BUT THE TIME HAD COME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL OF ANOTHER RANGE! [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”]. And to reject this prophet is to reject God since the prophet is the mouth of God, the spokesman of God, bearer of a message from God, an emissary from God and not someone who gives words of knowledge or who pushes people down to the floor in prayer times, with wonders and revelations of seduction, even if those revelations are always true. 6 Since the foundation of the world, God has remained the same in his omnipotence, his omniscience and his omnipresence. He is the God of mercy, loving-kindness and love. He washed the Lamb and presented Him saying: Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. All the priests before him presented lambs, goats, bullocks whose bloods could not but cover up sins but John the Baptist presented the Lamb of God, the unique whose blood could wash sins away. It is a detailed and down-to-earth ministry. 8 In a ministry, there is the one that preaches and it was John the Baptist. There is the Word, Jesus-Christ who is preached and in our case, Jesus-Christ is the Word, this Message that you hear. In the case of John the Baptist, this same Word that I’m preaching you had been made flesh. First, the Word came to the prophet John the Baptist who presented It, not in the written form or the spoken form but in flesh. Thus, people had to follow Jesus-Christ who was the Message of John the Baptist. And some followed Jesus while others set themselves down in John the Baptist’s seat. Some said: "It is true that John the Baptist performed no miracles but he is all the same a prophet…" Others replied saying: "No! God vindicated the Message of John the Baptist more than that of Moses, Joshua, Elijah…" And they were all the same true sons of God. As a Ugandan living abroad, I come to appreciate what I have left behind the more I get older. The game reserves are some of the best in the world and nowhere as far I am aware are there tree climbing lions in any other part of Africa apart from Ishasha in Uganda. In terms of climate variety, we are up there to. (Rwenzori Mountains in western Uganda) also called Mountains of the Moon can be as cold as European mountains. And then drive 2-3 hours away and have tropical rainforests. Drive to north western Uganda and you get steamy but overcast areas that are great for growing tea and coffee (some would say very British kind of weather). Travel to northern Uganda where it is very arid and dry but still has pockets of forests dotted everywhere. And to begin to get what I am saying to you in how varied Uganda truly is. As Sir Winston Churchill called it ‘the Pearl of Africa’. I will let the tourists judge this for themselves. As I am biased towards my country of my birth. I hope and pray to go back some day permanently’God willing’.
